Just North of Islamorada lies The Everglades National
Park. This cast expanse of water and mangrove islands is
home to endless fishing opportunities. From fishing the
channels and moats around the mangroves for snook,
redfish and tarpon, to fishing the open bays for seatrout,
spanish mackerel, pompano, jacks, sharks and more. For as
many types of fish there are just as many styles of fishing
from fly fishing, to casting light tackle spinning rods the
Islamorada backcountry has something for everyone.
